Hello December!

 

December always makes me think about giving back and sharing useful info, so here are a few quick things I hope help you:

 

  • Watch out for deed/title scams. I’ve seen companies charge to “monitor” your title, but you can do this for free by setting up a notification at the county tax assessor’s website. Go to www.sdarcc.com for more info.

 

  • Consider a leak detection system.These devices can help you catch leaks early, potentially preventing costly water damage and even lowering your homeowners insurance premium.

 

  • Shopping for insurance? If you’ve been dropped by your carrier or just want to compare options, I keep a list of insurance companies and contacts I can share, just reach out and I’ll send it over.

 

  • Don’t forget the filters! Simple but important: change those HVAC, range hood, water, and other filters regularly. It’s an easy way to improve air and water quality and keep your systems running efficiently.
